Cookie Policy
This page describes the use of cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) on this website. For personal data sent through the contact form, see the Privacy Policy.
No profiling cookies
This website does not use profiling cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. There are no tracking pixels (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn) and no traffic analytics tools (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.).
Strictly necessary technologies
The website stores only strictly necessary browsing preferences in the browser's localStorage. These are local data, not readable by the server and not transmitted to third parties during normal browsing.
The site language is handled via the URL (/it, /en, /es) and is not stored in localStorage.
Outfit and Playfair Display fonts are served from this website (self-hosted). Material Symbols icons are downloaded from Google Fonts: in that case your browser may send technical data such as your IP address to Google (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Google does not set profiling cookies for this use.
- theme: the light or dark mode selected by the user (localStorage)
Third-party services
When you send a message through the contact form, the request is processed by the website API, Resend (transactional email), and Vercel hosting infrastructure. During ordinary browsing, neither Resend nor Vercel sets profiling cookies or reads the browser's localStorage.
For personal data processed in that context, see the Privacy Policy: https://giuseppepinto.dev/en/privacy.
Consent and control
Because the website only uses technical or strictly necessary technologies (theme preference and icon loading), no cookie banner is shown for profiling or analytics tools. You can clear data stored in localStorage at any time through your browser settings.
Changes to this cookie policy
If consent-requiring tools (e.g. analytics or pixels) are introduced in the future, this page will be updated and a compliant consent banner will be displayed.
For commercial projects, having the content reviewed by a professional is recommended, especially if analytics or advertising tools are introduced later.
